Four years has passed since that day, and though it may seem a long time, I feel like it was yesterday...

Workshop with the headmaster

We had another workshop, this one with the headmaster of the academy... it was interesting, instructive, it was delighting! *_* here's a picture of that special day..



I feel like everyday I'm getting closer to my dream, and I want to reach for it with all my friends!

ps: I've got 2 exams this past monday...done! and with good marks!! I'm so happy!

Academy : workshop with Cristian Ruiz

Have you ever met somebody that you wuld define " pure talent", a person who seems to have electricity running through his body and at the same time be the most quiet person in the world?
Well, I actually met that somebody : his name is Cristian Ruiz ( www.cristianruiz.com) , a great italian musical performer who was in town with the national tour of Hairspray, the musical from which inspired the movie with John Travolta.
I saw him ( I mean Cristian) on tv and on youtube, bought his cd but never had to chance to meet him personally...finally the chance came!
Now, this gorgeous performer is so humble, so relaxed and yet he's able to fill you with such an incredible energy and won't let you stop working until he's not satisfied!Second and third year student had two days workshop with him, working on one of his most important show : Rent ( a great musical by Jonathan Larson, inspired by Puccini's La Bohème )
The class was so into it that we've forgot things like hunger, thirst, tireness...all the people involved wanted to do their best and they did..it was a great success and we managed to live an intense experience, to work with a person who lives of his dreams*_* I'm literally in love with his talent, his power, his energy...and if dreams really comes true, one of my newest dream is to work with him someday, somehow! *_*

Back to the blog!!

I'm still alive, though it seems unbelieveble considering that I got the flu and all of the things I wanted to do I hadn't the chance to accomplish them... but I had to work anyway ( and this is bad) but also to go to the academy ( and this is sooo good!!!!!! *_* )
I 've had cough all this week, so I was afraid to start, especially for singing lessons..but our first day was absolutely awesome anyway! I will have time to tell you later or tomorrow for now I have to go to work...

ps: athena, I haven't the time to send the dvd, but on monday or tuesday I will send it finally! I promise!!!

First day!!!

It's been a while and I'm sorry, but I had no time due to my jobs ( fast food, babysitter) and of course I tried to study a little for my upcoming exam...I haven't slept much these past two night, and I think I will not have a chance to rest till end of October, for I'll be working at the fast food every night ( my boss has some trouble with his other activity and cannot leave my co-worker alone, so I'm on)
anyway...later, this afternoon, I will have the first meeting at the musical academy! I'm so, so excited about it!!!! I will tell you later, or tomorrow, now I have to go to the gym!

Sometimes you find a song that you can take off of your mind and then you realise it is more than a song, it is actually saying something...this was the case of " viva la vida"... I used to hear it a work and I admit it, I do the " ohhh ohhh ohh ohhh" part :P but today I stopped and listened to it carefully and woah, it has one of the most amazing and interesting lyrics I've ever heard!

I've joined yesterday! It is a great site where you can put a list of book and then recieve requests from all over the world...then you can decide to accept the request and send the requested book and gain points you use to request books for yourself!
If you realise you don't want any book, then you can donate your points to an istitution that will use them for benefit :D
I think it is a great idea, a sort of bookcrossing! I hate to have books getting old and dusty on a shelf without anyone but me to read them ( I am a bookworm, reading almost 30 books or more a year, not to mention university books :P ) I used to give some of mine to the local library here, but it closed this summer so when a friend showed me this site I had no doubt and joined!

Back to the gym

This morning I made up my mind and decided to go back to the gym...I did Fitboxe ( I adore it!) till July then stopped 'cause I started working.
Now, to be honest I had the idea to restart with sport from the very beginning of September but for a reason or another I always ended up saying something like " I'll go next week!I'll go tomorrow!" and as you can see it is October already.
Well, that day has finally come and the secretary saw me coming across the doors with the same look in her eyes as if I were a ghost or something! :D
After a good chat, I paid the monthly subscription and thought " yes, it's done! I will start tomorrow!" and I was about to go when the secretary stopped me and asked me " Why don't you start today? Next lesson is at 12pm! You have 30 minutes "
I could not say no, so I went back home, took my suit and ...well..this was my first day after three months of complete stillness and now every single bone of my body is in agony! But it was so exciting, and I think I will feel better as the days go by :D

He looks like a bear , he's rude but I know that deep inside ( very deep, though... you have to dig for a while, I guess :P ) he's good hearted :)

Today costumers told me my "kebabs" were tasty and they truly enjoyed them! I was so happy, it is so nice to recieve good remarks for you job well done!

Now I will go to sleep... good night!

Working day!

This morning I woke up at 9 and I was late! I had to run at work, a part time, where I had to do a general cleaning...I managed to clean up the kitchen, yes, the kitchen only, and it took me three hours and a half! This evening I went to the fast food and in a hour it got so crowded I could not believe it was the same place! :P
Believe it or not, I think that Someone up above has heard my prayers, for my co-worker was gloomy for sales were not as good as she hoped and I told her not to lose faith and to believe that things' gonna be alright...then costumers kept coming till late midnight and none of us could sit and rest or even have dinner!
It was a great night, a tiring one, but still great!
My boss eventually gave me an extra wage tonight for my job well done!
Tomorrow I will post some pictures of the place where I work on weekends, this famous fast food I keep talking about! Now I really need some rest...good night!

Josh Groban - New Album!!!

Well, it s not a "new" album, but a collection of his most famous songs, a " Best of" which will be released in europe this November!
I can't wait!
I really love his music, and his voice, and the guy is completely crazy!
His sense of humor and wit amaze me everyday, ss well as his kindness, his worship and his good attitude... :D
He' s just a great artist!

New friends!

I've been to the city today! This morning I had voice lessons with my voice coach ( she said I'm developing and I'm glad about it :D) whilst this afternoon I went to the academy and enrolled! I'm ufficially a first year student of the musical theatre academy! I still can't believe it! Please don't wake me up! I've seen some of the guys I've met at the audition and I was so happy to know they made it too!! My classmates seem to be nice and I love the idea to share this dream with them!
I've taken a picture of us ( not all of us, though) but I can't post it right now, I'm in a hurry! Late for work...
